BIS provides warranty contracts for medical imaging equipment. We can initiate the service call on your staff’s behalf or you can initiate the call to the provider, and we can process the invoice for the service call.

Tubes

When the x-ray tube goes out this is one of the most expensive repairs on the X-Ray system. This is covered as part of the warranty contract and not an extra cost.

Detectors

When the detector goes out this is one of the other most expensive repairs on an X-Ray system. This is covered as part of the warranty contract and not an extra cost.

PM’s

Preventive Maintenance is included as part of the warranty contract.

If you own equipment there will be issues. With BIS being able to work with multiple vendors we can pay the vendor who can get onsite the fastest to fix your problem. You’re not waiting for slow service providers.

  • You have the option to use the original equipment manufacturer, or a qualified independent service organization. Most clients retain the services of their current service provider; however, the freedom exists to utilize whichever service provider that offers the best quality and price, and the fastest response time.

  • Yes, our experience shows that you will receive timely service and may even see improved response times. In fact, in the absence of a pre-paid service contract with the service provider, any new service request would be a billable event and new revenue for the service provider. This arrangement provides an additional incentive to the service provider to respond quickly and invoice for the service performed. You purchased an expensive asset from the equipment manufacturer, and they run the risk of losing future equipment sales and service work if their service degrades.

  • BIS will always pay the standard hourly rates no matter when service is performed. Per whichever maintance agreement your organization desires.

  • We will cover all maintenance expenses incurred during the contract period, even if those expenses exceed your BIS warranty payments.
